The Brazilian CCS Association will host the CCS Brazil Forum on May 13th and 14th, bringing together representatives from the public sector, the private sector, and the scientific community to discuss the advancement of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technologies in the country. The event will take place at the British Consulate-General in São Paulo and is part of a strategic moment for developing solutions capable of reducing industrial emissions and consolidating new decarbonization pathways in Brazil.

Technical debate and institutional articulation to strengthen the CCUS agenda

The program will be divided into two complementary parts. On the morning of the first day, there will be a meeting reserved for association members, dedicated to the exchange of experiences and institutional coordination. In the afternoon, the CCS Brazil Forum itself will begin, extending into the second day with technical presentations, panel discussions, and in-depth discussions on economic incentives, the carbon market, research and development, and regulatory advancements.
