The Ceará State Development Agency and its institutional partners have achieved international recognition with the Ceará Green Hydrogen Platform, winner of the ArcGIS StoryMaps Competition, promoted by Esri. This recognition, which brought together more than 450 projects from 55 countries, consolidates the Ceará initiative as a global benchmark in the use of geospatial intelligence applied to energy transition and sustainable development.

Data integration and strategy positions Ceará as a competitive clean energy hub

Developed in partnership with the Ceará State Secretariat for Economic Development, the Pecém Industrial and Port Complex, and the Federation of Industries of the State of Ceará, the platform stands out for consolidating, in an integrated digital environment, strategic data on infrastructure, the production chain, and the regulatory environment of low-carbon hydrogen. Launched during the 2025 World Hydrogen Summit, the tool uses interactive maps and advanced analytics to offer a systemic view of the local energy ecosystem, facilitating decision-making by investors and public policy makers.
