COBEE 2025 brings together leaders and experts to discuss the future of energy efficiency in Brazil

The 21st edition of the Brazilian Congress on Energy Efficiency (COBEE), organized by ABESCO, will be held from October 27th to 29th, consolidating its position as the leading national forum for discussion on the smart use of energy. Focusing on the electricity and sanitation sectors, the event will bring together experts, companies, and policymakers to explore solutions and innovations that drive competitiveness and sustainable development.
Three days of strategic debates and a showcase for the energy transition
On the first day, panels will address the role of the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) and ANEEL in accelerating energy efficiency, as well as topics such as legislative leadership for a just transition, innovative financing mechanisms, and regulatory modernization of the electricity sector. The second day will focus on the relationship between energy efficiency, industrial development, and smart cities, covering science, technology, and innovation, as well as public sector initiatives and education and social engagement strategies.
Closing the conference, the third day will discuss energy efficiency in vulnerable areas and sanitation, with a focus on the use of biogas. The program includes awards for the best energy efficiency projects and a panel on entrepreneurship and innovation, highlighting the role of startups in the energy transition. With the participation of national and international speakers, COBEE 2025 is consolidating itself as a strategic space for companies seeking a leading role in Brazil's energy agenda.
