Recognized as the leading international meeting point for the sector, the World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition returns to Rotterdam, bringing together governments, industry leaders, and experts to discuss the future of the hydrogen-based energy transition. Organized by the Sustainable Energy Council and RX Global, in partnership with the Dutch government, the province of South Holland, the city and port of Rotterdam, the event positions itself as one of the world's most influential forums for assessing climate goals, coordinating investments, and building strategic alliances in the sector.
Global agreements, new thematic zones, and the advancement of the decarbonization agenda
The most recent edition of the meeting reinforces its vocation as a platform for international business and cooperation, bringing together approximately 10,000 professionals—including ministers, CEOs, and technical leaders—to discuss the challenges of decarbonization and accelerate hydrogen projects towards the next decade. Among the new features for 2026 are the CCUS World and Energy Storage World zones, dedicated to complementary technologies, expanding the scope of the event to integrated carbon capture and energy storage solutions.
The program includes technology exhibitions, business roundtables, and strategic debates that reflect the current stage of the market: from the experimental phase to industrial-scale deployment. In this scenario, the Rotterdam meeting consolidates itself as a global decision-making hub, where projects gain traction, partnerships are formed, and the future of the hydrogen economy begins to take concrete shape.
