The international hydrogen agenda gains prominence with the Business Development Tour – Chinese Hydrogen Industry, scheduled to take place between March 23 and 29, 2026, in Beijing and Shanghai. The initiative includes technical visits, business meetings, and participation in major international industry trade fairs, aiming to bring Brazilian companies and institutions closer to the Chinese industrial ecosystem. The organization has the institutional support of the Brazilian Hydrogen Association (ABH2), which participates in the coordination of the national delegation in partnership with the China Hydrogen Global Development Alliance.
Technological immersion, industrial networking, and opportunities for international cooperation
The itinerary includes visits to the Daxing International Hydrogen Industry Demonstration Zone, participation in the China International Hydrogen Congress & Expo (CIHC 2026) and the Beijing International Hydrogen Technology & Equipment Exhibition (HEIE 2026), as well as business meetings with local companies and visits to industrial hubs such as the Jiading Hydrogen Hub and the Nantong hydrogen zone.
Among the highlights is a visit to the largest integrated offshore solar-hydrogen-storage project, showcasing the scale of Chinese initiatives in the sector. The program combines technological exchange, investment prospecting, and the building of strategic partnerships, reinforcing the growing cooperation between Brazil and China in low-carbon technologies. For Brazilian companies, the tour represents a concrete opportunity to access global innovation chains, accelerating the country's insertion into a market that is consolidating as one of the pillars of the new global energy economy.
