Fortaleza will host the H2 LATAM Summit 2025, a Latin American meeting on hydrogen

On October 8th and 9th, 2025, Fortaleza will be the center of discussions on the future of the hydrogen economy in Latin America. The H2LATAM Summit 2025, promoted by the International Green Hydrogen Incentive Program (H2Uppp) of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), will bring together business leaders, investors, governments, and European and Latin American institutions to discuss business opportunities and technological cooperation in the sector. The free event, with simultaneous translation in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, promises to solidify Brazil as one of the strategic hubs of the global energy transition.
The event connects companies, governments, and investors to boost the hydrogen economy in Latin America.
Focusing on business, innovation, and international integration, the H2LATAM Summit 2025 will feature a program that combines a congress, a trade fair, investment rounds, and side events. Delegations from the European Union, Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Chile, Uruguay, and Colombia will participate in the discussions, which will cover topics ranging from the development of production chains and financing models to the role of public policies in the advancement of hydrogen and its derivatives. The first day will also feature a Happy Hour hosted by FIEC, creating a favorable environment for networking between business leaders and industry authorities.
