IFCE opens applications for specialization program in low-carbon hydrogen

The Federal Institute of Ceará (IFCE), through its Pecém Campus, has opened the selection process for the Specialization Program in Green Hydrogen—a free course offered via distance learning (EaD). Spanning 18 months, the program is designed to qualify engineering and technology professionals to work in research, development, and innovation related to the green hydrogen production, distribution, and utilization chain—a sector considered strategic for the energy transition.

Specialized training for an expanding technological sector

Applications will be accepted from August 7 to August 27, 2026, in accordance with the rules set out in the official public notice. The specialization program will feature both synchronous and asynchronous classes and will utilize five in-person support centers—located in Aracati, Caucaia, Maracanaú, Russas, and Trairi—each offering 30 spots. Selection will be conducted via an electronic lottery among candidates with approved applications, scheduled for September 14 at 9:00 AM. The final results are set for October 5, and the inaugural class is scheduled for October 28.
